MACKAYLAH GERARD-ROUSSIN
December 22, 2001 - August 28, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our angel Mackaylah Gerard-Roussin. Mackaylah was taken from us on August 28, 2022, way too early for such a loving and caring soul.
Mackaylah's love of life and family was evident. When she wasn't working, she was spending time with her family, especially her younger sisters, who she adored.
Left to mourn are her parents, Melissa Roussin and Kirby Gerard; siblings, Jhavel, Rhomel, Kylissa and Kylie; best friends, Autumn, Serenity, Chanel, Kody, Tyron, Corbin, Samtra; godchildren, Jharrell, Kylieena and JC; grandparents, Irene and Neil, Theresa and Frank; boyfriend Aaron, Aunt Kelsey, Shannon and family. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and coworkers at both the TD Bank and Rossbrook House where she started her dream to become a social worker.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all family and friends for their outpouring support throughout this difficult time. We would also like to thank the many organizations for their generous support. Also a special thank you to the singers and drummers for helping our Angel on her Journey.

Wake Service is being held Saturday, September 3 to Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Christ Church Anglican Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB. Visitation will be held at the Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at Bardal Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.

There is no words to console those whose hearts have been rendered apart by such a terrible way to say goodbye to this beautiful young girl, leaving here, when her journey of her selfless life was only beginning.
