GERALD (GERRY) SVOBODA
Gerald (Gerry) Svoboda, beloved husband of Betty; father of Larry (Sherry), Brian (Beverly); grandpa of Bryson and Brenden; brother of Ross (Maurena) Svoboda, Dawn Boyd (Wendal), and Tammy Svoboda.
Gerry came to Winnipeg from Crandall, MB in 1969 and worked at Infasco/Docap for 32 years.
Gerry passed away at Grace Hospice, Winnipeg, MB on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 76 years of age.
A graveside service will be held at the Crandall Cemetery, Crandall, MB on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of Gerry's life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date.

I have been fortunate to know Gerry and the Svoboda family for 23 years. Gerry was a kind hearted, dedicated man with a warm laugh to match his love of life, family and his enjoyment of hockey and football. Particular of note was Gerry's commitment to help with his children and grandchildren. Gerry was such a great guy to me he was so funny!! Always had a smile on his face and a funny story to tell ...I’ve known him since the age of 18 ... I will miss him dearly!!!
