HAROLD WOZNEY

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harold Wozney, husband, father, brother and grandfather, at the age of 81 on August 27, 2022 in Winnipeg.
He is survived by his wife JoAnne, son Glen (Carol) and his daughter Barb, as well as his grandchildren, Randy (Kristen), Shaun, and great-grandson Carson. He is also survived by his brother William (Lynne) of Victoria, BC, sister Fran (Wally) Kalichuk of Hamilton, ON, sister Iris Lott of Comox, BC, brother David (Julie) of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Harry (1995), and mother Catherine (2020).
Harry was born a gifted musician in Yorkton/Kessock, SK. At the age of 18 he moved to Winnipeg where he eventually landed his career job at MTS. Not long after, he met and married his wife Jo Anne of 56 years.
Throughout the years they enjoyed many vacations and fishing trips with friends and family. They purchased a summer place at Heather Game and Fish in Lac Du Bonnet, MB. Here they spent 30 years meeting new friends, playing music, fishing and drinking beer.
Harry retired from MTS after 37 years and then started his own company "Harry's Home Services". He finally retired for good at the age of 65.
Harry will forever be remembered for his passion for musical instruments. He was able to play every imaginable instrument as well as making a few of his own along the way.
Harry was the most kind and friendly person you ever met and that's why everyone knew him as "Happy Harry". We will always miss his pearly whites.
Out of respect for Harry's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
