RAYMONDE DELLA MANAIGRE
(nee SABOURIN)

Raymonde Della Manaigre (nee Sabourin) passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on December 5, 2021, at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 76 years.
She was predeceased by her brother Norbert and her parents, Albert and Simone Sabourin. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jules; children, Susanne and Paul (Lianne Rochon); her four grandchildren, Anique, Chloe, Noah and Remi; brothers, Guy Sabourin (Estelle) and George Sabourin (Debbie); sisters, Jeannette Gilmore (Paul), Marcelle Sabourin, and Mona Lavallee (Gilbert); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Raymonde was born on July 28, 1945, in St. Jean Baptiste, MB, and grew up on the family farm. She was the eldest of seven children and kept busy helping her mother with the requirements of farm life. She moved to Winnipeg in 1963 and was employed at Great West Life. On November 19, 1966, she married the man of her dreams, Jules, and they began their life together in St. Vital. Over the course of their married life, they had two children, ventured out to Alberta for a year, and chose St. Adolphe, MB as their home, where she was still living prior to her passing.
She was active in the community; loved gathering with the ladies to make quilts, organizing old-time dances with Jules and assisting with the Club lunches. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her four grandchildren; there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them. She is greatly missed.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Mom in her final days and were very accommodating, given the Covid restrictions.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Adolphe Parish Church in St. Adolphe, MB, at 1:00 p.m. on September 17, 2022, followed by interment of her cremated remains in the parish cemetery. Music will begin at 12:30 p.m.
