  • To Inez and the family please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mark. He was one of my favourite people as a child, always kind and really funny. He gave me my first job as a 15 year old at Saults and Pollard. He watched over me and helped me adapt to the working world. For that I will always be grateful. Our two families had a great time together when both our dads played fastball together. I’m sorry I am unable to attend his funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care, Debbie - Posted by: Debbie Williams (Neillings) (Family friend) on: Sep 16, 2022

  • I was fortunate to get to know Mark when we were teammates with the Winnipeg Kiewals Fastball Team in the 1950’s. He not only was an all-star shortstop but a supportive and caring teammate. Off the field, my wife Joan and I had a friendly relationship with Mark and Inez but was cut short when, in 1960, we moved to Regina and then on to Vancouver. To all of Mark’s Family and Friends may these brief but fond memories of Mark bring you comfort during this difficult time. Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Mark. Sincerely, Bob & Joan Taylor - Vancouver - Posted by: Robert Taylor (Friend) on: Sep 11, 2022
