BERNARD AUGUST SUTTORP
September 3, 2022, with heavy hearts we say goodbye to husband and father, Bernard August Suttorp. After enduring two rounds of chemotherapy and radiation he succumbed to the side effects of treating lymphoma. His pain was immense but this strong man passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife, Linda, daughters, Shelley and Alison and son Robert.
We held and prayed as he was led through his Last Rites. He closed his eyes, inhaled his last breath and left his pain in this world.
His soul is free and with renewed strength we know he is riding his Harley and surrounded by passed family, friends and his beloved pets.
His presence will remain in our hearts and thoughts daily as he is loved forever and always.

My sincere condolences to Bernies family. I worked with Bernie for a number of years when he was at Schneiders which later changed to Maple Leaf. He had a very good work ethic, was a hard worker and displayed a very tough exterior. But Bernie had a very soft side when it came to talking about his kids and his wife. He was always smiling when it came to telling you where he rode his Harley on the weekend. I am sorry to hear he suffered alot during his treatments, as no person should have to endure that type of pain.
