ELIZABETH (JAN) MALAZDREWICZ
With Tom and her children by her side, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's, Jan passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 82. She was born in Alonsa, MB on May 1, 1940.
Jan is survived by her lifelong love of 61 years, Tom; three children, Jeff (Heather) of Winnipeg, Keith (Freda) of Whitefish, Montana and Christine (Darin) Wager of Selkirk; three grandchildren, Lexie (fiancée Gabe) of Denver, Kyle (Nicole) of Austin and Becky of Selkirk; two sisters, Rose of Calgary and Vicky of Kelowna, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anne, siblings, Mary, Sue, Stella, Stephie, Alex, Mike and Frank.
Jan will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and infectious laugh, as well as her kind and generous heart. Gardening, petit point, knitting, quilting, dainties and perogies are some of our special memories of Baba/Mom/Jan.
Due to current Covid conditions, a Celebration of Life service may be considered at a future date.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Red River Place in Selkirk where she spent the last years of her life with Tom always by her side.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
