March 2, 1943 – September 11, 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our Angel Mom and Baba. Mom has moved onto higher ranks of angels above.
Vichnaya Pamyat!
Mom will be lovely remembered by her daughter, Jacqueline Proceviat (Michael) of BC, son Donald and Candace, grandsons, Nicholas, Madison and Nathan. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, in October 2018. Mom is survived by her sister Doreen and Don MacKenzie and family.
A funeral prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. For those unable to attend, the event will also be live-streamed and recorded through the Korban Funeral Chapel Facebook page www.facebook.com/korbanchapel
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

Hi Jackie and Donald and families, My deepest sorrow to your family. Joyce was a wonderful person who enjoyed life to the fullest and always was a lot of fun to hang out with. She loved her family very much and was always so proud of all of you and spoke so fondly of you. I know that you will miss her immensely. I know how difficult it was to watch her as her illness progressed as I also experienced this with my mother. Hopefully she is at peace now.
