A life well lived!

My mum lived 90 vibrant years with a smile and a positive outlook almost every day of her life. She had a heart of gold, a fabulous smile, laughter of pure joy, and she was our treasure.
She really was the most amazing person I've ever known.
I always thought she was the one constant in my life - that she would be here forever, but now life has changed yet again. Of the many things I will take away from my relationship with my mum - the one most important to me is to always see the good, the positive, and the beauty in everything and everyone. My mum had that gift and I will try to carry on in spite of the great void left by her passing.
My mum left this world peacefully from her home at the Biltmore in Arizona, with her beloved family by her side.
She didn't get the opportunity to make the journey to her summer residence in Ontario but was thrilled to see the constant updates of water levels, flowers, and blueberries at her beloved lake home.
It's hard when someone who you constantly counted on for advice, ideas and plans for the future is no longer with you and you must now venture alone.
Life will never be the same but life has never been better.
I owe everything to my beautiful mother and I cherish her memory and the wonderful life we had with her in it.
Rest In Peace my angel and relish this new chapter with your son, husband, brother, and parents who have gone before you.
Milagro, Jessica, and I will be fine because of the wonderful memories we have to sustain us for the rest of our lives here on earth.
It was truly an honour and we will miss you profoundly.

Rest easy - we love you!
