With sadness in our hearts, we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Mary on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Mary was born in Saskatoon on October 28, 1938 but lived most of her life in Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Anne Rudniski, sisters, Stella and Frances, brother Joe, brother-in-law John and daughter Deborah.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Shaun, Chelsea (Mitch), great-granddaughter Ella, sister Olga, sister-in-law Levia and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Mary was a very proud great- grandmother and shared a special bond with her great-granddaughter Ella.
She had a successful career at Motor Coach Industries where she made many good friends.
Mary was kind-hearted, hard-working and fun-loving. She had a great laugh. She was a sports fan, a newspaper reader, an avid gardener and an excellent Ukrainian cook. Family was important to her. She lived a full life of good times with those she loved. She will be dearly missed.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Family and friends are encouraged to celebrate Mary in their own special way, making certain they raise a glass to toast her memory.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mary's name can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.

Auntie Mary…you were a part of my life and our family for so long and you certainly were a special aunt. We had so much fun together…you, me, Dan and Mom…weren’t we lucky! My heart goes out to the family and friends of Mary! I met her when I moved her with my Son and our Dogs were friends as well. I do have memories of doing a toedicure day with our dogs and Mary was most appreciative. Thank you Mary for being such a sweet neighbor. May you Rest In Peace.
