Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Ellis Family, So sorry to hear about Janye this wonderful person who helped so many people in her life time. From Girl Guides (192nd) Tyndall Park to her job at TecVoc School she was amazing. Lindsey-her guidance through guiding helped me in my life choices and now still involved in guiding. Cathy-her friendship in guiding helped me with this great organization. She’ll be sadly missed. - Posted by: Lindsey Mitton. Cathy Bamburak (Friends from Girl Guides) on: Oct 15, 2022

  • The world will be a sadder place without her cheery face. We met in Guiding as my daughter's leader and became good friends 40yrs ago. Long chats on the phone, lunches, visits. Dave, Tammy,Sean, and her three wonderfull grandchildren, my heart breaks for you. Love and huggs. Aunty Elaine - Posted by: Elaine Fraser (Friend in Guiding) on: Sep 29, 2022

  • I have known Jayne since 1982. She was my neighbour and became my daughters babysitter from 3- 10 years old. Jennifer loved auntie Jayne from the moment they met. They shared such a wonderful bond through the years and still do. Jayne was one of those people that was like a magnet. She was always so very pleasant to all that she met. Her whole family had this way about them. She just brought out the best in people. The world has lost an extremely wonderful girl much to young. The loss to her family can’t be measured. I wish I could see her one more time to tell her, “Jayne, please don’t go. You are far to nice a person to leave us behind. May God Bless your amazing soul - Posted by: Darlene Tod (Friend ) on: Sep 26, 2022

  • I am so very saddened to hear of Jayne's passing! My childhood was so much greater for just having her in my life! Jayne (better known as Aunty Jayne) was my care giver growing up when I was in elementary school. I loved every single day spent at her house (whether it was before/after school, school in-service days, sick days...even the ones I would pretend to be sick just so I could spend the day at her loving home). Her home was always filled with plenty of laughter and hugs. I would spend the day watching Days of our Lives, playing games, helping make soup/sandwiches, art/crafts or baking! I loved our cup of tea (filled with lots of honey) with great a conversation! Aunty Jayne will be remembered by absolutely every single person that knew her! She has touched so many people hearts and I am sure everyone has a special story that includes her! I offer my condolences to the whole family! Tammy, Sean and Dave I am so very sorry for this huge loss. My heart hurts for each of you. xoxo Jennifer Ranville (Harris) - Posted by: Jennifer Ranville (Harris) (friend) on: Sep 24, 2022
