GEAN BAK
June 5, 1927 September 9, 2022
With heavy hearts, we announce that Gean passed away with her family at her side on September 9, 2022 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home at the age of 95 years.
She is survived by daughter Christine Berestiansky (John); grandchildren, Leona Sembrat (Eugene), Mark Berestiansky (Lindsay) and Julia Sorenson (Ryan) and great-grandchildren, Meira and Renia Sembrat, Paige, Camilla and Ronin Berestiansky and Liam, Eli and Lilian Sorenson. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph; her son Frank and her grandson Gregory.
Gean accomplished much in her lifetime, experiencing both joy and sorrow. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and celebrated all their achievements. This love sustained her throughout her life.
We wish to thank the staff of the SNPC Home for their compassionate care. A private family service with interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery will be held.
Gean's family requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honor her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew her, will be available there.
She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. May God grant her eternal peace.

My condolences from myself, Chris and mother Lena. As a young child I remembered Gene and Joe visiting my parents frequently. Gene enjoyed the trip to Hawaii with all of us.. It was nice she visited my mother, Lena at her apartment 5 to 10 years ago. My mother really enjoyed Gene’s company. Gene will be missed by Lena. - Posted by: Stan Skrzenta (Friend) on: Sep 26, 2022
