  • I had the pleasure of knowing Freddie from the time I was age 10. His genuine laughter and love of his family always showed and his dedication to their extended foster family is/was unparalleled. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our hearts go out to Magno, Ian and Andy and the rest of their family. "Father of all, we pray to you for Freddie, all those we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace." - Posted by: Marion Lewis (Family Friend) on: Sep 27, 2022

  • My deepest and most sincere condolences to Magno and Freddie's family. I loved hearing Freddie laugh when he and my dad (Jack) would play dominoes together. He had an infectious smile. I loved giving and receiving Christmas cards from Freddie and Magno. They are both kind and generous people. Freddie will truly be missed. Until we meet again... Freddie, may your soul rest in eternal peace. Love always, Monique, Sean, Mirai, Méric and Marquis - Posted by: Monique Pereira (daughter of Jack & Denise Williams) (Close Family Friend, like an uncle ) on: Sep 26, 2022

  • The most loving kind patient Uncle. The Laidlow family has lost a major glue. No milestone would go by without a hand written card or a call. Uncle Freddie was love. I loved to see him and Aunt Maggie together. He will be missed but will be forever cherished in the spirit. - Posted by: CANDICE LAIDLOW (Niece) on: Sep 26, 2022

  • Sundays will never be the same without all of us catching up with you on the latest news; having a laugh (oh your wonderful laugh,) and sharing cherished childhood memories. We all loved you, and now we're so deeply bereft that you're no longer with us. But what memories we have: of fun times when we've visited you, Magno and your family in Canada, or when you made the long trip to Toronto when we were there visiting our siblings. We've all been fortunate to have you as a brother and as an Uncle. And everyone else who knew you will feel the same. Our hearts are with you, Magno, Ian, Andy, Jasmen and all your grandchildren. Rest in peace, dear Freddie. You'll never be forgotten, you'll always be loved. - Posted by: Fitzroy, Gail and John Laidlow (Brother, Niece and Nephew) on: Sep 26, 2022
