With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Catherine Sara Mary Swan-Bruce (Booboo), on September 16, 2022 at the age of 28 years old in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She leaves to mourn her mom Andrea Swan and step-dad Donald Henderson; sisters, Vanessa (Billy), Kala (Darcy), Neepin (Tony), Shanna; brothers, Evan, and Seegun; Pops Henry Swan, auntie Nicole Swan. Her babies, Anna, Jorja, Erin Alexa, Abby, Ava, Harold, Eric, Matthew, Leland, Easton, Bubs, Kyron, Barret, Eli, Bobby, and Bryce; and numerous family and friends.
Catherine is reunited with her dad Harold Bruce, sister Jessie Woodford, nanny Norma Swan, granny Mary Bruce; grandpas, Glenn and Alex Bruce; aunties, Sheila Bruce, Denise Chase, Ida Bruce; and uncle Mike Bruce.
Our Boo accomplished many great things in her life, most recently graduating from her electrician course from IBEW. Every job and everywhere she travelled, she made friends which some became a part of her family. Family was everything to her, she took all her nieces and nephews as her own. Everyone who held a spot in her heart received their own special nickname from her. Boo will be deeply missed by all who knew her as she was the most caring, funny and outgoing person there was.
Wake services will be held at the residence of Andrea and Donald, House 49 Letander Road, Sagkeeng First Nation from September 27 to 30, 2022. Funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church on September 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.
