He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother (kookum) Therese (nee Twoheart) Courchene and grandfather (mishoom) George Basil Courchene; his paternal Grandmother Marta and grandfather Fransisco Alvarez; his aunts, Alisa Therese, Karen Lynn and Elaine; and cousins, Blaine, Georgie, Esther, Miranda, Sophia, Micah James "Bronson" and Alfie Swampy.
Enrique was loved by all who knew him; he was well known to have a big heart with wide open arms ready to help when he could. He loved to hug if you saw him there came a hug with his hello or goodbyes, he also always added I love you. Enrique was an easy-going person who loved life; he loved to joke around, sing, dance and visit. Enrique was a hard worker and was a strong young man. He loved to share stories and boy could he share; he used his hands a lot to describe stories and add a dance to it. If you heard a story, you know what I am talking about. Enrique will be missed. We will miss his contagious smile.
