JUDITH ANN (TAYLOR) MACKAY

We are here with teary eyes and broken hearts to announce that the rock and spirited mind of our family, Judith Ann Mackay (Taylor) has passed away in her sleep after a battle with Cancer.
Judy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 5, 1959. She is predeceased by her father Joseph and her mother Eileen.
During the summers, Judy spent every weekend and a few weeks at her happy place down in Bears Paw, near Grand Beach. When she wasn't at the lake, Judy loved baking for her family with her grandchildren and watching every cooking show she could find! She looked forward to her daily games with her Facebook friends and watching the Bombers go for the W!
Judy worked as a lunch helper for the last seven years and had the love of the staff and many of the children at Crestview Elementary School.
Judy will be terribly missed by her husband of 44 years, Brian; their children, Cameron and Leslie; their daughter-in-law Tara, as well as three grandchildren, Jolene, Paige and Everett; her sister Heather (Bob) and brother Joe; brothers-in-law, Rod and Dave and sister-in-law Adele (Jorge); all her nieces and nephews, countless friends and the many people that loved her.
Brian, Leslie, Jolene, Cameron, Tara, Paige and Everett will have Judy's energy in their lives. Judy will be in our hearts forever.

Love you Sweetheart! Catch you later.
Your mate forever, Brian.

The family would like to thank Dr. Paul and staff at HSC CancerCare for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or any charity of your choosing. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2023.

  • Judy was such a caring, considerate and sweet person, and I will miss her terribly! We played Words with Friends daily, unless she was at the lake (which she loved!!) and even then she managed to squeeze in a few games. She gave me recipes I will treasure, advice on a lot of different things and on sooo many occasions a great laugh!! We never spoke on the phone, I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but I feel like the world has lost someone I will always call a friend. My sincere condolences to all of her family, my prayers are with all of you. - Posted by: Patsy Bernhjelm (Friend) on: Oct 01, 2022
