LORRAINE CRAWFORD
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Lorraine Constance Crawford passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Bruce Beatty; her son Jason Racine (Amanda Beatty); her brother Bill Crawford (Steve McConnell) and her sister Connie Crawford-Redman (Steve Redman).
Lorraine was predeceased by her son Robert Crawford Racine and her brother Michael Crawford.
Lorraine was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and as the child of a military family, she travelled throughout Canada. Her favourite travel destination in later years was St. John's, Newfoundland. She and Bruce spent many hours watching the ships come into the harbour. She was at peace there.
The name Lorraine means warrior. Lorraine fought COPD valiantly and with great courage. When she realized the battle could not be won, she let go and died peacefully. At Lorraine's request there will not be a funeral.

Bruce, I was saddened when I learned of Lorraine's passing, and am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Lorraine's family during this very difficult time, and I wish all of you the strength needed to get through it.
