Carol was a good friend since we met as teachers and lived in the same apartment building in Steinbach back in the 1970s. Through the years we never lost touch although we lived in different cities. Her Christmas letters were always a treat. When she moved to Stratford, we visited her several times as our son was studying nearby at the U. of Waterloo. My husband and I once even stayed over night at her townhouse. I truly enjoyed her book, "Polio's Child". I'm glad we visited her in the fall of 2021. Carol was a remarkable women--always full of life and enthusiasm, especially for theatre and cats. It is a tragedy that Alzheimer's took her away from us. I will miss her as long as I live. - Posted by: l. Diane Law (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2023
