CONNIE MCADAM

Connie McAdam (nee Claes) passed away peacefully on the morning of August 17, 2022.
Connie is predeceased by her loving husband Warren and will be sadly missed by sons, Wylie (Pat) and Warren (Janice); grandchildren Stacey (Mark), Stephanie (Lanie), Justin (Laura) and Alexa (Paul); great-grandchildren Donty, Authur and Ben as well many other relatives and friends. Connie is predeceased by her parents Frank and Rose and sister Fran.
During her career Mom worked for Eatons, Safeway and the provincial highways department, retiring in 1998. She loved working in the kitchen creating incredible meals for family and friends. In the summer, she was always outside tending to her garden as well she enjoyed crafts and sewing.
Mom and Dad enjoyed trips across the US and Canada with the Eastern Star and the Shriners. In later years Mom made trips to the east coast of Canada and Portugal. She also wintered for several years in Mesa, Arizona.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service was held.
Special thanks to the medical staff at Concordia Hospital who cared for Mom in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations in Connie's name can be made to the Manitoba Kidney Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba.
