• When I was a kid I had a keen interest in electronics, and Eugene would give me electronic components and gadgets to experiment with. Years later I was able to reciprocate by helping Eugene learn about computers. Between electronics and computers we shared a bond. • My condolensces to you and your family, Carol. I recall Eugene being very helpful to my parents, especially when one of our appliances would need his "magic touch" to get it functioning again. How I will remember Gene best is his love of animals, and the "kitty condos" he built for both our yards for the trap, neuter and release of the feral felines. Please take care. • Room #39, 1958 was when I met Eugene. I was in grade 10 at the time. ""Zoich" a nickname we called him, blended in with our crowd seamlessly. Always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to have around. I was glad to have had him as a friend, and am saddened to hear of his passing.
