JUDITH DUFAULT
Judith Carol Dufault (née Hartwig), our beloved sister, mother and grandmother, on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 75 years, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with family members by her side.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her husband Maurice; devoted sister Norma; sons, Aaron (married to Karen) and Brenden (married to Nicole); grandchildren. Lilly, Arienne, and Aven; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy grew up on a farm near Emerson, MB. She then moved to study nursing at Winnipeg General Hospital.
Judy worked as a Registered Nurse, first in Adult Medicine and the Diabetic Clinic at Health Sciences Centre. Later, she worked at the Winnipeg Children's Hospital. She was a natural healer and caregiver to many, and loved working with children.
Outside of work, Judy was always there to support loved ones in life's ups and downs. Her love of gardening, cooking, and nature shone through in her daily life.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Mom's caregivers at The Courtyards Assisted Living Home, as well as the Right at Home caregivers, and Lisa at Tuxedo Physiotherapy.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, (455 Lagimodiere Blvd; 204-982-7550).

On behalf of the WGH/HSC Nursing Alumni and as a nursing classmate, we extend our sincerest condolences to Judy's family and friends. A nursing classmate remembered Judy as, quite quiet, very gentle and a caring person, always great with her patients.
