THOMAS SHURA
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Thomas Shura, M.Ed., announce his peaceful passing on September 29, 2022, in Kenora, ON.
Born to Mike and Kay (née Sul) Shura of Alonsa, MB, Tom spent his early years growing up and teaching in Manitoba before moving to Kenora in the early 1960s to further his career.
He is predeceased by his parents, and is survived by his daughter Angie of Kenora; brother Walter (Mary) Shurraw of Winnipeg; and sister Mary Shura, also of Winnipeg. Tom also leaves to mourn his nephews, Cedric Shurraw and Sabin (Sarah, children - Ellie and Zyler) Shurraw.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Notre Dame du Portage Parish in Kenora.
Brown Funeral Home (Dignity Memorial) in Kenora has been entrusted with all arrangements.
