Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I had a pleasure of meeting Glen while working as a server at one of his favourite brunch spots. Such a warm, inviting and jolly person. Even though my blue scooter was nothing like his motorcycles, he was intrigued by my little 49cc machine, and I loved that support. Grateful for those moments to look back on. Deepest condolences to the friends and family grieving. - Posted by: Emily Payne (Friend) on: Oct 22, 2022

  • I met Glenn about 7 years ago. I actually met him at the Royal George Hotel with his wonderful partner Louise. That’s how I found out we were neighbours 😃. He was always kind and very friendly. We ended up pretty good friends and I enjoy his company a lot. My heart goes out to Louise for such a great loss. They were there for me when my husband passed away. Hope you and Wally are having fun working on bikes and cars in the big white garage in the sky.❤️Hope to make the celebration on the 30th. - Posted by: Coco Titanich (Neighbour ) on: Oct 22, 2022

  • I was fortunate enough to meet Glen about 5 years ago when I moved into his house on Atlantic Ave. here in Winnipeg. He was my landlord, technically, but over time we became friends. A lovely man, Glen was. Whenever he'd come over to the house, he'd tell me all sorts of stories of his motorcycle days and travelling around riding with Louise. You will be missed Glen. The world was a better place when you were here...and the kindness you showed me won't easily be forgotten. - Posted by: Krysta Staub (Friend/Landlord) on: Oct 17, 2022

  • Glen was my younger brother and was a year younger then me. I kept reminding him that I was the oldest hoping it gave me some status but that never worked. We spent many long summers at the beach as kids playing “Rocky Mountain” with our friends and sisters and sitting in the sun, playing in the sand and swimming. He even convinced me to go fishing one very early summer morning. I never caught anything and that was that. We kept in touch through texts and telephone and I looked forward to him dropping in to say hi. Miss the roar of the motorcycle pulling up to the driveway and our arguments about politics. All good though. So it has been sad days since you left. Miss you very much and wish were here. Love you my bro. 💖 - Posted by: Linda Fadden (Sister ) on: Oct 17, 2022
