PIETRO AIELLO
August 16, 1934 – October 12, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather Pietro Aiello surrounded with his family by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Pasquale (Pina), Joe (Tamara), his greatest joys grandchildren Peter, Samantha, Franco, Adrianna, Corrina, Michele and Luca. He also leaves to mourn his passing sisters Rita (Giuseppe), Angela (Eugenio), Anna (Francesco), Aurelia (Domenico), Cesarina (Pino), sister-in-law Serafina along with numerous nieces and nephews.
We are truly grateful for his partner Josie, who loved and cared for him the last eight years of his life
We would like to express our gratitude to the nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Ward with a special thanks to nurses Jennifer, Rita, Ashley, Joanna and Loida. Also to health care aid Romano, who brought a little joy to his last days by singing Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin songs for him. We would also like to thank our father's G.P. Dr. Sam Elkams.
In accordance with our father's wishes there will be a private burial with Rev. Father Sam Argenziano officiating.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to make a donation to Cancer Care MB or St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Ward.
