Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I recall staying at Auntie Jean's house in the city's West End and how she made the best toast, gave me a small bible and had the world's biggest sewing room on the second floor. I also was a bridesmaid at her wedding and she made the dress. - Posted by: nadia moharib (longtime family friend) on: Jan 01, 2023

  • I have a lot of great memories of Auntie Jean. Her and my mom worked at Paulin Chambers together and she was in my mom's wedding party. I was very blessed for her to be my God Mother. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Maureen Simpson (God Daughter) on: Dec 12, 2022

  • You know, when I think of my Aunt Jean what always comes to my mind first and foremost is candy. Us kids loved the chocolates and candies that she would always bless us with! Finally, when I became a man and put away childish things, I realized her complete love and devotion for my Jesus. It was her prayers and her sister Anna's prayers that our Father in Heaven honored all those years which brought me into His Kingdom. I will never forget her and Anna praying for Nat and I and then the Spirit of Prophecy came upon her and she spoke from His throne of grace into both of our lives!!! That blew me away, totally. I knew that her and Anna were both born-again Spirit-filled believers but I did not know that she had that gift. I was stunned. Aunt Jean, you were a gift to the body of Christ and the last living child of Helen and Peter. That legacy has now been passed down to all the nephews and nieces. We will meet again some day soon and I will personally thank both you and Anna for praying me into His Kingdom. Much love from Loomis, California......Anthony John. - Posted by: anthony john jurkowski (nephew) on: Oct 20, 2022
