Josh is survived by his caregiver and mother Yvonne and his papa Wally (deceased); his biological parents, Tamara Cochrane and Brian; his siblings, Scott, Angelina and Patience, and his special brother Vaughan (Ashley) and sister Deneem.
Josh will be sadly missed tremendously by his buddy and cousin Owen who idolized him. They have travelled numerous times to Cuba together and many other places. These two were inseparable. They did many hours of building lego and playing. They shared a special bond.

Josh was loved by many. He was very kind hearted and very respectful. He was always there to give a helping hand. Josh liked to wear designer clothes and liked to dress well and feel good about himself. He was a very loving and caring person. Josh had many talents; to name a few he loved cooking and his specialty was weekend brunches and barbequing. Joshua, my boy. Today, marks a month we (your family) got the devastating news that you were gone. Why? I struggle with the though everyday that I will never see my handsome Joshua. I call out your name everyday and just breakdown and cry. Joshua, I was so proud of you when you played hockey, you were so smart in everything you did and your pictures of your favourite goalie Hellebuyck. Joshua, you will always be my boy, your auntie Debbie loves more than you will ever know, you have and always had a special place in my heart. I can still hear you asking, auntie can we go to Tim’s and get an ice cap and that was every time I picked you up. I enjoyed spending time with you, even when you were Mr. know it all! Go rest high on that mountain, Joshua Love your auntie Debbie - Posted by: Debra Swampy (Auntie) on: Nov 17, 2022

I attended school with Josh from kindergarten to graduation. We spent our childhood growing up together. I was never close with Josh, but hearing of his passing truly broke my heart. Josh was quite and kind. He was passionate about the things he loved and that was evident. Knowing josh for 13 years of my life, being in the same class as him 8 out of those 13 years, I can say Josh was a beautiful soul who treated everyone equally. I can only hope Josh’s family is able to find peace and remember Josh in life, not in death. my condolences. - Posted by: taylor (classmate ) on: Nov 09, 2022
