Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAYWARD: After a short battle with cancer on September 24, 2022, George Robert (Bob) passed away at home in his 84th year. Cherished companion of Lynn Petre. Loving father of Debbie (Doug) Elliott and stepfather of Chelsea and Derek. Dear grandpa of Christy (Billy), Steven, Alvey, and Harrison. Great-grandpa of Tia and Taylor. Dear brother of Shirley (Bill), Helen, and Ida. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers David and Jack. Bob was a retired employee of Nestle with many years of service. He was an avid golfer and bowler and will be missed by many friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held at St. Stephen on the Mount Anglican Church on September 28. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
