ELIZABETH HEIN
Elizabeth Hein of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on October 12, 2022, at the age of 83.
Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her friends and looked forward to their daily phone calls. Generous with her time, she volunteered with the activities of the First Mennonite Church and the CP group among other personal commitments. She was most proud and supportive of her two grandchildren, Naomi and Zack.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lydia and her two grandchildren, Naomi and Zack. She was predeceased by her father Daniel in 1974; her mother Maria in 1963; her brother Hans in 2004 and her husband Hartwig in 2010.
Known as Liz, Betty, Mom, or Oma - her sweet, gentle loving spirit will be missed.
A private service to be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Condolences to Elizabeth's family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net. Please indicate "Hein" in the subject line.
