Our sincere condolences to the de Groot family. We always enjoyed Henry’s visits to Vancouver. He would tell us about his dog whom he loved very much. Henry joined us aboard our boat the Christina M and we had a great day together. He epitomized family values and it was reflected in all of his actions and life decisions. Both Simon and I were fortunate to have spent time in his company. A true gentleman and a beautiful soul. Rest In Peace dear Henry. May your spirit of kindness live on in the memories of all you knew. With much love. - Posted by: Tina Harvey (Family ) on: Nov 08, 2022

My deepest condolences to everyone in the family. Henry was such a kind, loving and gentle soul with a great sense of humor who would go out of his way to help someone in need. He had a great impact on my life and I will always remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Instead of flowers a donation in his name has been made to the Humane Society to help dogs he loved so much. - Posted by: Christa Manuel (friend) on: Nov 07, 2022
