I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Billy. My condolences go out to Rose and George and his children. I was unable to attend the funeral but wished I could have been there.I remember Billy as one of the original Co-op kids and he had a great smile and a awesome sense of humour. He will be fondly remembered and the Kiss army lost their most loyal fan. RIP Billiam - Posted by: Marnie Richards (Family friend ) on: Nov 07, 2022

Bill was the most straight up honest, trusting person I've met since my father (Brian monkman Sr) always with a smile and slack joke. I will never forget you, or the difference you made in my life bro. Much love. - Posted by: Brian monkman jr (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2022

I've known Billy for 35 years...he was our next door neighbor in the coop. He was our lil bro...countless memories building tree forts....hanging out at the slide....basket ball courts...summer holidays hanging out with our Co-op crew and his love for KISS....I could go on and on. He was one of a kind...and his laugh how I will miss it. My heart breaks for Rose, George and his kids who were his world. Rest easy Lil bro watch over us all xoxo Co-op family - Posted by: Barb Bednarski (Childhood friend/neighbor) on: Nov 05, 2022

I grew up with Billy. He was like a brother to me. He introduced me to Kiss and was always a great big brother. He had a light heart and I will never forget his beautiful unique laugh. I have so many memories of him that I will always treasure. A bet with our friend Ian landed Billy a free tattoo. I remember roller skating with him, bar nights, hot tub parties and just hanging out. He will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Much love to you all. - Posted by: Cathy Stuve (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2022

My sincere Condolences to Family & friends. I met Billy when I moved to Winnipeg, he was boarding at my sisters and being new to Winnipeg, Billy was a very nice and happy go luck young man half my age with a heart of gold and a great sence of humor, we hit it off right away. I needed a job and Billy who was already working for Conforce a concrete plant put in a reference for me and we ended up working together for 2yrs. We also drove around here and there as he introduced me to a few friends. I was shocked to hear of his passing and will miss his permanent smile and his humor. - Posted by: Bruce Coleman (Friend & Coworker) on: Nov 05, 2022
