You gave no one a farewell or last goodbye, You were gone in an instant
and nobody knows why.
A million times we miss you,
a million tears we cry.
The pain is still with us,
a year now has gone by.
In our hearts you hold a special place,
no one will ever fill.
Our lives will never be the same
in the quiet and the still.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone.
A piece of us went with you
into the big unknown.
They say we're not alone.
You walk beside us everyday.
We wish we could see or touch
you in any form or way.
Until we meet again our sweet girl,
know you are loved beyond words,
and missed beyond measure.
