ALPHONSINE LARIVIERE
Mrs. Alphonsine Lariviere, aged 96, of St. Malo, Manitoba, passed away on November 4, 2022, at the Repos Jolys in St. Pierre.
She was born on February 10, 1926, in St. Malo and was the daughter of the late Delphis and Alexandrine Pelletier.
Alphonsine was preceded in death by her husband Roger in 1963 (also of St. Malo).
Alphie (as she was known) worked numerous years at the St. Malo Co-Op where her goal was to help and assist people in their day-to-day purchase of groceries and associated items. She was an avid BINGO follower, loved the WWF, totally enjoyed working in her flower gardens, but most of all cherished the company of her family.
Alphonsine is survived by two sons and one daughter, Renald (Marcelle) Lariviere of Buffalo Point, Guy (Céline) Lariviere of St. Malo, and daughter Nicole Lariviere of St. Malo. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, along with 11 great-grandchildren, Michelle (Matt, Ian), Sylvie (Ben, Hannah), Eric, Lynne (Danella), Joanne (Rylan, Danica, Malik), and Alex (Théo, Lévi, Marcus).
The family would like to thank the St. Pierre Repos staff for the excellent care given to our mother over the last few years and at the time of her passing.
She will be missed by family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church by Father Paul Nguyen.
Burial to follow at the St. Malo Cemetery.
