MARY ELLEN WILL

With sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Ellen Will on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Willowview Personal Care Home, Reston, Manitoba. The family would like to thank the staff at Willowview for their excellent care during mom's stay.
Mary Ellen is survived by sons, Tom (Renee), Tim (Karen), Dean and grandson Matthew (Sharon); great-grandsons, Owen and Wyatt.
The family would also like to acknowledge the companionship and support of Roy Ingbretson in mom's later years.
Mary Ellen Will was a gracious, loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. Mom had a lifelong interest in helping others and supported organizations that provided assistance to those in need. Her passion was babies and after raising three sons, fostered 23 babies through the Children' Aid Society. She was a longtime member of PEO, a philanthropic women's organization, an active member of the United Church and an avid quilter.
A private family service has been held and mom is interred with her husband Raymond Will and other family members at Brookside Cemetery.

  • Dear Tim, Tom and families. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I have so many childhood memories of her and your family, I remember she always, always had the biggest smile on her face. She was so kind to all of us “Hayden kids” and was such a great friend to our mom. Thinking of you in this sad and difficult time. - Posted by: Wendy Martin (Hayden) (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2022

  • Mary Ellen will be remembered with love by myself and my family. She was a wonderful companion to my Dad in their later years. We will always have many wonderful memories of the times we spent with her and will miss the bright smile which she always greeted us with as well as her cheerful and kind personality. I'm very glad to have known her. My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Charlene Ingbritson (Friend) on: Nov 12, 2022
