Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Barb was a true friend. We could tell it all, we knew we would keep the confidence. That kind of friend is priceless. A back and forth of mutual love and respect. I had the greatest admiration for Barb, for her perseverance, if her illness dealt her an embarrassing blow, she faced it squarely and moved on. Never letting it dictate her day. She leaves her lovely daughter Vanessa and “Her Boys” whom she loved so much, a Legacy of love for family, meaning of true friendship, compassion for all people regardless of station. And to persevere in thankfulness no matter what life dealt. She was always friendly so full of life I will miss her. See you on the other side my Dear friend - Posted by: Sylvia Anderson (Friend ) on: Nov 18, 2022

  • I knew Mom to be a firecracker. Full of life, love and spirit. She loved with all her heart, appreciated those of us around her and loved her family completely. I will miss her laugh. Love to the whole family, Megan & Ethan - Posted by: Megan wallace (friend) on: Nov 17, 2022

  • We are saddened that Barb has passed, but we are very grateful that her pain has ended. Barb was the strongest person when it came to fighting for life. We have so many fond memories of St. Stephen's choir and church functions. One that I think of frequently and fondly was the 100th anniversary celebration and Barb's rendition of Hello Dolly. The day she joined the St. Stephen's choir was our good fortune. What a brilliant force to be reckoned with. I, for one, am glad to have had the privilege of knowing you.
