EWART RICHARD DEMMANS
September 7, 1985 - November 5, 2022
On November 5 our brother, son, father, uncle, Ewart Richard Demmans (Sounding thunderbird man), started his journey to the spirit world at the age of 37.
Ewart was born in Winnipeg, MB at St. Boniface Hospital and was from the Fisher River Cree Nation.
He was predeceased by his father, Richard Demmans, his foster mother Nadia Rupert (Nanny), his Auntie Tillie Lafrance who he also called mom. He leaves to mourn his mother, Fay Sinclair (Lloyd), partner Meloney Radley, his children, Meeka, Miley, Ewart Jr., Melvin and Keegan; siblings, Lisa Demmans, Donovan Sinclair (Meghan), Aaron Lafrance, Michelle Sinclair, Tricia Chornoby (Nick), Shannon, Eric, Irvin (Amanda), along with all his nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Ewart had such a high spirit and always had a way to light up a room with his contagious smile and humour. His drive and determination to provide was something he always took pride in. He cherished his children and wanted nothing but the best for them.
He will be sadly missed and his memories will forever live in our hearts.
Wake and funeral services will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. on Wednesday, November 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Happy heavenly birthday to you my brother. Today you would have been 38. It’s hard knowing that you never made it passed 37 and to know you never was able to live out your life. I think about you everyday, we miss you everyday. I wish I could have been there more for you and to know your hurt. I love you so much brother.
