I worked with Wilf at Trans Canada Freezers for a number of years, he was such a great person to work with. He talked a lot of his family and loved seeing them especially at all their sporting events. My sincere condolences to the entire family. - Posted by: Tracy Monney (Co-worker) on: Dec 05, 2022

Shirley and Family; We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Wilf's passing. Wilf was one of "those" customers who came to our restaurant and left an imprint. Over time both Perry and myself as well as our staff came to know Wilf & Shirley and their family and friends as they would gather and visit over breakfast or a bowl of homemade soup, which was always Wilf's weakness. Wilf was a genuine and gentle person who was always interested in how you were doing and was there to support you in whatever way he could. His friendly smile and spirit will be missed but we are grateful for his friendship. Rest in peace dear Wilf. - Posted by: Kelly & Perry Verot, Southdale Village Family Restaurant (Friends) on: Nov 20, 2022
