NICOLE AUDETTE FORSYTH

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nicole Audette Forsyth on November 16, 2022, beloved spouse, step-mom/grandmother and sister, family member and dear friend to many. Nicole joins our parents as well as many family members and friends in heaven.
She loved laughing, fishing, and the sun and sand... and her husband David, the love of her life for over 29 years. She was where she wanted to be, in a place of sun and fun, and of course bingo in the Dominican Republic, a favourite pastime when on their winter getaways. She loved to party and be with family and friends.
She is survived by her spouse, David Forsyth and his children and grandchildren, Ryan Forsyth (Corbin Forsyth, Elie Morrissette), Jon Forsyth (Lillian; Annebelle), Chris Forsyth, her siblings, Gisèle Okrusko (David; Danielle, Kevin, William and Thomas Parsons; Kendra Okrosko), Lise, Joanne Cyr (Gary), Jacques and Luc Audette (Monique; Natalie and André), as well as her in-laws and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of the Audette/ Courcelles and Forsyth/Lambert families. Her memory will be cherished by all of those who love her dearly.
Nicole, you will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by us all.
A private family funeral will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory.

  • Our sincerest condolences Dave and family in the passing of your beloved wife Nicole. We are still in shock as most of us are to loose some one so young. As friends have mentioned her beautiful smile and loving kindness will always be remembered and treasured by those who knew her. She was always so friendly when we shopped at LA Verendre store and we will miss the commeradery we shared. To those she has left behind I pray for God's peace to sustain you and uphold you with each passing day. Love and prayers...Bev & Rolly - Posted by: Beverley & Roland Simard (Friend) on: Dec 01, 2022

  • Dave and family, condolences to all. I always enjoyed our discussions at LaVerendrye and the odd times we would run into each other. What usually started out as a quick greeting undoubtedly launched into a lengthy discussion about life. Nicole had a quick wit and I loved her perception on life. Blessings and hugs to all of you. - Posted by: Cindy Kellendonk (Friend) on: Nov 27, 2022

  • My deepest condolences to you Dave, along with both the Audette and Forsyth families. To be honest, I am in shock and very saddened to hear that Nicole passed away suddenly. Nicole was such a kind person to me, I enjoyed working with her at LaVerendrye, but I also enjoyed spending some moments with both her and you after work whether it was at the Lakeview, or your home on the river, such fantastic hosts! So long ago though.... I wish I had made the time to come out to see you both in LDB I would have loved that! I enjoyed chatting it up with Nicole on FB as well, catching up on life, again with her always being sincere and sweet with her words. You were her world Dave, I remember her telling us that she met and fell in love with you while on a trip to Dominican Republic, it doesn't surprise me that is where she had to say goodbye to you and all of us from. I hope that all of your great memories of times you had together will help heal your heart and keep her close to you at all times. Thinking of you, big hugs. - Posted by: Susie Potticary (Lavoie) (Friend) on: Nov 24, 2022
