ATCHISON: Lillian May Atchison of Brandon, MB passed away peacefully November 17, 2022, at Fairview Personal Care Home at the age of 95. Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband Wilbert and brothers Carl, Bill, David and Alvin, and sister Thelma. She is survived by daughters Arlene Hatch (Tully), Linda Hunter (Del), Judy Berry (Bill) and Shelley Mispelon (Raymond). Also remembered by sisters-in-law Audrey Owen and Lois Owen, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Lillian was born at Stoughton, SK on May 3, 1927, the second oldest child of Percy and Rosetta Owen. She lived in Reston, MB and worked at Abbey's Grocery Store until she met the love of her life Wilbert Atchison of Finlay MB. They married on September 29, 1949. She lived and worked on the family farm until 1985 when Lillian and Wilbert moved to Brandon, MB. Lillian spent many hours milking cows, baking, gardening, and raising her family of four beautiful girls. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, The Pipestone United Church and after moving to Brandon, the Trinity United Church. Lillian curled for many years at Riverview Curling Club in Brandon. Lillian and Wilbert enjoyed camping with the Good Sam Travel Club travelling around the country and later with family at Oak Lake Resort. She was very athletic and loved to walk the nature trails with family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was loved by her family and will be sadly missed by all.

ATCHISON: Lillian May Atchison of Brandon, Manitoba beloved wife of the late Wilbert Atchison and loving mother of Arlene (Tully) Hatch, Linda (Del) Hunter, Judy (Bill) Berry, and Shelley (Raymond) Mispelon passed away peacefully at Fairview Personal Care Home, Brandon Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the age of 95 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pipestone Community Hall, Pipestone, Manitoba Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Unger officiating. Interment will be in Pipestone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Pipestone United Church or to Trinity United Church -Brandon 1515 6th Street Brandon, MB R7A 6B3 in memory of Lillian.
