CORNELIUS WINTER
It is with heavy hearts that the family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of our dear father, grandfather, and great-grandfather on November 21, 2022.
Cornelius was predeceased by his wife Susan, his parents Agnes and Cornelius, and his brother John. He is survived by his sons, Neil (Carol) and Ron(Judy); his grandchildren Lindsay (Dan), Jordan (Laura), Logan, Wendy (Gareth), and Matthew; and his 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cornelius was born to Agnes (Wieler) and Cornelius Winter on October 27, 1926 in Neuenburg, Ukraine. He will forever be remembered for his love of family, kindness, generosity, and wonderful sense of humour. We would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the care and compassion they gave and showed to Pop in his later years.
A private family celebration of Cornelius' life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cornelius' name to Cancer Care Manitoba.

Our condolences to ‘Uncle’ Cornie’s entire family. I know my parents David & Anne Winter always enjoyed re-connecting with Cornie and Susan at family reunions and celebrations. My impressions of Uncle Cornie were of a kind (and classy) gentleman who always took an interest in hearing what was happening in our lives - even when we were just kids.
