Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • In Sept. of 1997, it was my surprise to meet Marlow at the Barbershop in Polo park. Since then Marlow has shown friendship through his constant visit to be well-groomed. He was faithful, when I retired in 2000 he insisted I give him his flat top at my home. Needless to know, I gave him his last, well-groomed to meet the Lord in Heaven and perform his Magic. He was a generous person, this year there will be over a dozen or more that will miss his Christmas food bags. Rest in Peace my friend you have earned your place in Heaven. - Posted by: Peter Maruca (Marlows' Barber) on: Dec 19, 2022

  • On behalf of my Family, Rod Thompson and the POS team, we offer our sincere condolences to the Cochrane family. Marlowe was a very special person with unique qualities with genuine traits of friendship and kindness. He was a person always ready to help or provide direction in life's journey to anyone he had an encounter with in any cross cultural setting or environment. I know he will be missed by his family and community and many friends. He is now on his second journey to his eternal home. Psalm 23. - The Lord is my Shepherd...Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil...And I will dwell in the House of the Lord "Forever". Amen. - Posted by: Marshall Murdock (Friend and Colleague ) on: Dec 03, 2022

  • I first met Marlowe around 1999, I had him do his walk around magic for me at career fairs, Aboriginal day, community events and many gatherings with youth in schools. He had a great presence and was always surrounded by children and youth everywhere I had him come to. He was a super role model and always treated everyone as an equal, no matter what age. Many events won't be the same without Marlowe's presence amazing everyone. I remember getting him out to school for the deaf, every student wanted a career in be doing magic. I'll miss my good friend Marlowe and I send my deepest sympathies to his children and grandchildren at this heavy time on the heart for those who loved him. From my family and grandchildren who always enjoyed being around Marlowe. Respectfully, Clayton Sandy and family - Posted by: Clayton Sandy (Working Colleague) on: Nov 30, 2022
