DAN RENTZ
With a crushed heart I announce the passing of Dan Rentz.
Dan was an extraordinary stout-hearted human. He was powerful, both physically and mentally. He wore his convictions like a compass. He loved SO BIG. His heart was so beautiful.
You knew when Dan entered, his laugh was loud and genuine and would shake the room. His gait unforgettable; fierce and ready. Determination emanated from his pores. If he wanted something done there was no stopping him. He could build and fix anything. If he didn't know how, he would research and figure it out. Dedicated, fearless and selfless were only some of his many strong traits.
Dan's steadfast loyalty to his family and friends will never be forgotten. Myself and our daughter will cherish the time and teachings we had and will miss him forever.
27 years, I remember it all. Thank you for your love and dedication. All that you taught me. I will never ever forget you.
Dan will be laid to rest today at St. Vital Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be on his Birthday, January 31, 2023, with his favourite foods, music, sharing stories, and cream soda out of tea cups, just as he would have wanted.

I don’t know Dan personally, I know your daughter Lily beautiful she is, looking in her eyes I can see she is from wonderful parents, I know she is missing you a lot, as you mean lot son much for her.
