SANDY SKINNER
February 19, 1944 – November 25, 2022

It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Sandy Skinner announces her passing on November 25, 2022, at home and surrounded by her children. Sandy's struggles with cancer are now over, and she is peacefully at rest, along with her beloved husband, Johnny Skinner, and other loved ones who have predeceased her.
The great love and priority in Sandy's life, was always her John Boy and their children. She was an amazing wife and mother, supporting them in every possible way, while pursuing her own career as an early childhood educator. She loved their life on the farm. She was always awed by the natural beauty of her surroundings - gardens, flowers, plants, birds, animals, blue skies, sunrises, sunsets, and especially fields of grain. Her kindness and the gentle and caring way she lived her life, with humility and grace, were her defining attributes.
Sandy's always shown an unconditional love of all children. She saw herself as one of the luckiest Moms ever to her four loving children - Jennifer (Jason), Rod (Kim), Scott (Angele), Sherry Lynne (Mike). Her pride and joy knew no bounds with her eight grandchildren - McKay and Matty, Lachlan and Lilly, Olivia and Abby, Brianne and Austin. She also leaves behind her sister, Sherry (Terry), and brother, Curtis (June). Sandy was predeceased by her Mom and Dad (Marg and Stan Charison), and sister Linda (Fred). She will be sadly missed, but her memory will be honoured forever by her extended family of aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Sandy's medical team who saw her through many health issues. Sandy requested there not be a funeral service. Anyone wishing to send an online tribute or make a donation to any local charity or children's group in her honour is welcome to do so.
