DONALD EDWARD ANNIUK
1956 - 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Don on October 15, 2022, at his home in Matlock, Manitoba.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Natalie and Edward Anniuk; and his beloved sister Beverly Stevens. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kari; and grandchildren, Ella and Eden; and nieces, Tracy and Alicia. Don was born in Gimli, Manitoba and grew up in Matlock where he felt most at home.
Don lived a simple life on his scenic property in Matlock, which was a subsection of the farmland cared for by his parents for many years. He collected all sorts of items big and small. Don enjoyed time with his friends and family and will be remembered by his daughter for his joyous laugh, strumming of Willy Nelson tunes on his guitar and rides around town in the back of his pickup truck.
A private family interment will take place at St. Williams Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Gimli Humane Society in Don's memory.
