LEN WIEBE
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Len Wiebe. He is survived by his wife Phyllis and their three children; Ren (Joanna), Cheryl (Patricia and Daniel) and Glenn (Karen), and six grandchildren.
Len had a 35 year teaching career in senior high Physics and Math, and had a life-long love of learning. Len completed multiple Bachelor degrees and a Master of Science. He was a master craftsman, and with Phyllis, built two log homes at Moth Lake and Black Sturgeon. He was an adventurer who moved with his young family to Lahr, Germany to teach and travel throughout Europe.
Following retirement, Len lived a fulfilling life - golfing, curling, singing, playing bridge, and above all else, volunteering. Len battled Parkinson's for over 20 years and finally succumbed to his illness.
Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will take place on December 7, 1:00 p.m., at Charleswood Mennonite Church, 699 Haney St., Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MCC or Canadian Food Grains Bank.

Dear Phyllis and Family, our deepest condolences on the passing of Leonard. Such a wonderful kind and caring man. He loved his gardening in the summer and always made sure we knew the rainfall amount should we need to water or not. A great neighbor, always willing to lend a hand. He is now free of pain and resting well. He will be missed. Sending warm hugs and prayers to comfort you all at this difficult time. XOXOXO!!! I was one of many grateful students that Len instructed. Then years later we ended up as neighbours. I appreciated Len's enthusiasm as a teacher. Len you didn't surrender easily to Parkinson's. You put up an amazing battle. My God hold you in his arms. - Posted by: Ron MacKenzie (First a student then a neighbour ) on: Dec 03, 2022
