DEBORAH LORTEAU

Deborah passed peacefully in the comfort of her own bed on November 25, 2022.
She was born February 10, 1965. She was married to David Bronk and they both lived life on their terms. Deborah is survived by her sister Nicole (married to Lance) and their children Jeffrey (Billy), and Chantelle (Collin). She was predeceased by her nephew Beau-Jais, her pets Sly and Chez.
Deborah grew up in St. Eustache, MB and went to school at St. Paul's Collegiate in Elie. She went to school in The Pas and earned a Diploma in Natural Resources Management Technology. But life took her on a different path, and she went back to Red River College to earn a Diploma in Applied Counselling Skills. This led to working with youth and children at MacDonald Youth Services, and New Directions. She also worked for years with older adults at Age & Opportunity in various roles. She was the first Resource Coordinator for seniors in Fort Garry. Deborah tried to work with as many groups as possible trying to help and support as many people as she could. She also worked with women at the North End Women's Centre and ended her career by working with the intellectually disabled men of DASCH.
She lived life on her terms, and no funeral or memorial has been requested.
Remember her on a cold winter day or when the hot summer breeze comes swirling around. She did the best she could for as long as she could. She was beloved by her family.
