IRMA R. KEMP
May 1936 - December 2022
On Saturday, December 3, 2022, Irma unexpectedly answered the call to go home to be with our Heavenly Father. We are certain that her beloved husband Norm was delighted to be reunited, and welcome her to the Kingdom.
Irma is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cindy (Daryl) and Cara (Wes); grandchildren, Brittany (fiancé Terrence), Jayson, Josiah (Alexa), Samuel (Victoria), Sarah (Parker); siblings, Gerry (Velma), Milly (John), Darlene, Joy, Sharon (Bob), Lorraine, Dale (Miriam), Roy (Laurel), Dayton (Merilyn), Bert; several nieces and nephews, many neighbours and numerous friends.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Gilbert and Lloyd; sisters-in-law, Faye, Leanna and Grace; and brothers-in-law, Ray and Bob.
Irma had a servant's heart and loved to attend Calvary Temple, where she was a member for almost 70 years. She volunteered there in many capacities, serving in Prayer Ministry, girls clubs, Sunday school, Choir, Women's Ministries, greeting and many other ministries over the years.
To know Irma was to see her passion for sharing and living the love of God. If there was a problem, Irma's first advice was always to pray about it. Irma built her legacy upon a cornerstone of faith; her passion was to continue to broaden her knowledge and faith in Jesus everyday, as she loved to read scripture and worship the Lord.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Temple Missions, 400 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2A8.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. For a live stream, please visit the Calvary Temple website: https://www.ctwinnipeg.com/
