1942 - 2022
Sadly we announce the passing of Roberta on November 16, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
Roberta was born and raised in Dauphin, MB and later moved to Winnipeg to pursue her career with the Province of Manitoba; a career she found very fulfilling for over 40 years.
She is survived by her lifelong partner Marcel Dacquay; sisters, Gwen Timm and Donna Rutley; as well as in-laws, Denise and John Hawthorne and Dianne and Roger Dacquay; friend Marlise; nieces, Bernice, Lana and Leanne; cousins, Audrey Langlois and Shirley (Dale) Ross and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Don and Olive and sister Wilma.
Roberta enjoyed her time spent at the lake and visits and dinners with family and friends.
Special gratitude to those who gave Roberta loving care and support in her last years, especially at Golden Links Lodge.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.

By chance I just learned today of Roberta’s passing late last year. We knew each other from very early age, so many happy memories of Roberta. Although we had lost touch in recent years I remember your kind hospitality both in Winnipeg and at your cottage at the lake. Marcel I was very saddened to hear that Roberta has passed away. She was a colleague and dear friend. I have many fond memories of us working together in the Provincial Building in Brandon. Our friendship continued when she moved to Winnipeg especially each year at the Department of Labour Annual Retiree’s Christmas Party at the Norwood Hotel. Rest in Peace Roberta. Take care Marcel.
