MARC HENRI DESILETS
The family of Marc Henri Desilets, formerly of Elie, MB, would like to share the news of his passing on September 8, 2022, of congestive heart failure. He was 78 years old.
Marc was predeceased by infant son Timothy, his parents, Emile and Irene Desilets also of Elie and brother Norm of Haida Gwaii, BC. He leaves behind to reconcile this major loss, his loving wife of 53 years, Renate, two children, Dan (Tracie), Suzie (Jessie) and three grandchildren, Vienna, Aubrey and Hudson. Also walking this journey are his remaining siblings, Fern (Joan) of Ingramport, NS, Lynette (Bernie) of Halifax, NS, Michelle (Robert) Bailey of Stony Plain, AB where Marc lived for 45 years and Roger (Cathy) of Oakburn, MB, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and long time friends.
Marc was a big presence in his community, a man of faith and strong convictions. He so often said "I'm going to live my life". He did so with gusto. Well done Marc! We love you.
