BETTY ARLENE DUVUONO
1932 - 2022

Betty Arlene DeVuono (nee Bremner), peacefully passed away in Calgary, on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 90 years of age, with family by her side.
She was born on November 7, 1932 to Martha (nee Dubray) and Rudolph (Thomas) Bremner in the Fenton District of Saskatchewan. Betty attended Business College in Prince Albert, moved to Winnipeg and worked her entire career at General Motors. In Winnipeg, she met and married Ray DeVuono. Betty and Ray were fortunate to retire early and spent 20 years dividing their time between Winnipeg and Scottsdale Arizona. Betty was an active sports person her entire life, softball, curling, bowling. In her late fifties, she took up golf with her good friend Evelyn whom she worked with at General Motors. She had a passion for the sport, playing at least three times a week, and was a talented and proficient golfer achieving three "holes in one" and club championships in her golf adventures. Betty spent her last five years living with family in Prince Albert and Calgary.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Susan Dumont; sister Yvonne D'Amour; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 57 years Ray DeVuono (2016); parents, Martha and Rudolph Bremner; and five brothers, Vernold, Reynold, Stanley, Fred, and Gerald.
At Betty's request, no formal service will be held. Following cremation, an interment at the family plot in Prince Albert, SK will be held at a later date.
Rest in Peace Betty, we will remember your laughter and cherish our memories.
