BARBARA ELIZABETH DRUL (PETRYNKO)
August 26, 1943 - December 14, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara Elizabeth Drul on December 14, 2022, at the age of 79.
Barb will be remembered by her loving husband of 61 years, Eugene; son Kerry (Amber) and grandson, Liam and many other friends and family. She will be missed by her sister Irene. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Martha Petrynko, and her sisters, Margaret, Helen and Jean, and her brothers, Bill and Mike.
Barb was born Neepawa, Manitoba August 26, 1943. She moved to Winnipeg in 1960. She married Eugene Drul in 1961 and was happily married for 61 years. She worked at Safeway in the meat department for over 30 years. She spent her last eight years at Bethania Personal Care Home. We would like to thank all the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the amazing care over the years.
Barb enjoyed entertaining, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also loved to shop!
She was a kind, vibrant woman who loved to laugh. She was always willing to lend a hand and was very generous.
In keeping with Barb's wishes, a cremation and a family Celebration of Life will take place.

Uncle Eugene, Kerry, Amber and Liam, We are so sorry for your loss. Auntie Barbara had a personality with amazing traits, making herself a symbol of kindness and generosity. Her style... from her hair, nails, makeup and clothing - was always immaculate. I will always remember her beauty and the way she has lived her life. Was truly my favourite aunt, one of my fondest memories was when I was a little girl and she took me to get my ears pierced and bought me two pairs of earrings. She was also there for me when I got married and was the only family member to show up for the birth of my first son. My condolences to her family she definitely created good memories!
